Anyone else more impressed by Algieri than Khan, who again showed nothing special?

Chris needs a bit more power but he showed he can be aggressive and do well.

Khan won, but it was hardly as awe-inspiring and superhuman as the commentators would have people believe.:patsch

Sure, relatively speaking and given what we know about the fighters, Algieri was more impressive... or exceeded expectation. Khan won the fight though, and that's the bottom line. Winning is more impressive than losing. :p

I can't see his power improving much more but yes i was impressed. I still don't even rate Algieri highly but he seems to keep a higher guard now and used more pressure with Khan than he did with Pacquiao because Pacquiao was keeping him honest with his shots.

He can improve as he's still in the learning process. I don't think that's a finished article and with John David Jackson he's going to continue to improve.

Well, this matchup strongly favored Khan. And he barely pulled it off.

Algieri had every disadvantage and made the most of what he could do. I think Algieri could beat a lot of guys who would ko Khan. Khan is just a really tough matchup for Algieri since Algieri relies on his speed and Khan is faster.
