Hmmm.....dropping large amounts of weight and historical chin problems, up against a powerful, sharp puncher in the biggest fight of his (tail end) career? Spels trouble for LInares for me. May the best man win but Kev's doing it late I think, WITH BOMBS!
Fair enough if you have doubts about Mitchell but Linares is being made out to be a monster when he's only stopped 25 out of 38 wins and has been stopped 3 times. All 3 of his world title wins were vacant titles and he's struggling to make 135 when he started at 122. Obviously Linares is a quality fighter but if Mitchell truly is world class he should get the win and probably win by stoppage.
That could well happen. Linares looking too slick early on but slowly unravelling as the fight goes on with Mitchell getting the chance to get on the front foot and step into punches. I think he could stopped early as well though if Linares really goes for it.
Well, well. LInares is a total beast and no mistake! Made my prediction look off (although Mitchell was still throwing 'last hurrah' flurries at the end of the fight...) and fair ply to him. Linares=GGG of LW!
