    Linares is curling a left hook up top, around Mitchell's throat, and their heads clash. Mitchell is finding the right hand. Linares is jabbing in and slapping with both hands, smothering himself inside with no leverage on his combos, just heavy arm-punches. Mitchell can't get off anything quality either, running his fists along Linares' back.

    Interesting fight, Mitchell caught Linares cleanly in a tasty exchange but clearly lost the round from being too tentative and not busy enough. Linares is classy but vulnerable, but Mitchell is being too tentative and waiting too long most of the time. This will ebb and flow like mad, both fighters are setting traps and trying to draw leads. Very good fight for the purists.

    BIG right hand and left hook by Mitchell! Linares dumped on his rump! He's up. Mitchell is following up with jabs and hooks but standing off carefully at mid-range. Linares is hulking up, guard steady, throwing hard jabs and coming forward. Linares pushes Mitchell into the ropes but eats a left hook.
