    Linares is landing stiff jabs and turning Mitchell, who is taking a breather. Mitchell works combinations inside but they slide off the side of Linares' neck, unable to get his aim down, rhythm cooled off. Nice steady hard jabbing by Linares. Mitchell bashes at his head with both hands, landing a few cuffing rabbit punches as Linares covers up.

    Linares is coming forward and Mitchell is giving up ground, but neither are landing any punches. Lots of aggressive lunge-steps by Linares, some headhunting jabs, and some feints, but no real action here. Mitchell just creeping away, perhaps baiting Linares to ambush him from the ropes - yes! Mitchell performs a quick raid with the right hand and left hooks. Linares blocks and answers with a 1-2.
