Johnson was supposed to give Joshua something to think about - he was supposed to be durable, experienced and pose a few problems for Joshua to solve in a decent learning fight.

So who CAN give Joshua those rounds? Chisora seems just about done, Price would either spark him early or be sparked himself... he's already done the old men Skelton & Sprott ... maybe Whyte or Hughie?

If we agree that AJ needs good rounds against someone who he'll need to respect ... who would you suggest?

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Alexander Povetkin
    Deontay Wilder
    Tyson Fury
    David Haye
    Bryant Jennings

But he will pursue a liberty fight against Tony Thompson's Grandad

I would like to see him fight Haye. That would be a put up or shut up all round.

So you think only mature world level operators can give Joshua a decent workout? Wow. Is he that good already?

Wach seems the logical choice but a Pianeta or Lepai seems more likely for July 18th.

Fook me - everybody knows that outside the top 10, the heavweight division is at an all time farcical level.

These canfests are a waste of time and he is learning what he already knows - he can punch.

The door is wide open over the next 2 years but he is crawling like a snail towards it.

The heavyweight division will not always be this sh it and his biggest threats will come from younger men still to arrive in the future.
