who would you fight for your last fight? Would you continue fighting after the contract with Showtime?

Let's not kid ourselves and say Floyd should fight GGG or if you were him, you would fight GGG. MW is asking too much from Floyd and this is coming for a guy who also hates Floyd CATCHweather.

If I were Floyd and since he is looking out for safety first and who can bring in the most revenue I would fight Canelo on September. It can give another 80+ millions to Floyd for a fight that he already won and easily. After the contract is done, I would finish off retirement by rematching Pac after he is fully healed, maybe next May. I see no other fights out there giving Floyd so much money as these rematches. Maybe a Cotto fight but if you are moving up to MW then fight GGG not to look so bad in public. But Cotto vs Canelo are already in negotiation so he will have no other option than to problaby fight Khan in September. And even Khan is a high revenue fight.

So my picks are: Canelo and Pac next year.
What might happen: Khan and Pac next year.

He will fight whoever he wants...

    I'd expect Khan or D.Garcia

D.Garcia looks good on paper but Floyd knows he will school him...so he might be interested to do that.

I don't think he will care too much...he is only fighting once more to fulfill his contract.

The undercard and co-feature should be stacked.

There is no way on earth I would EVER want to be Mayweather I have too much pride & honour to ever act the way he does.
No amount of $$$$$$$ could make me act as cowardly as he does. TBE??? Never in a million years ATG ?? Same thing
If he was half a man he'd pull up his big girl panties & fight somewhere else but Vegas. Give his opponents an even playing field to fight on etc But sadly he is NOT a Man. No MAN raises his hand to a woman

    Hmmmm...

This is tricky, but I think I can figure him out. His 49-0 fight is a lot harder to predict than his 50-0. However, if I were Mayweather...

I'd be looking at it from a financial perspective. His legacy is set after the Pac fight unless he wants to go 50-0, which he will. Canelo has the mexicans, Garcia has the puerto ricans , and Khan has the brits. Though majority of them are unknown by casuals (Canelo may be getting there), they still have big boxing fan bases behind them. And luckily for Mayweather, all of them are easy wins.

Canelo is coming off a great win against Kirkland. However, Canelo said he refuses to fight Mayweather at a catchweight again. So, Mayweather would have to fight at 154 and I just don't see the point in doing that. It would make more sense to go up and fight Cotto so he'll at least win the WBC belt.

Garcia is coming off a subpar performance against Peterson. Since this fight verified again that Garcia does not do well against movers, it's an unwanted fight. It'd struggle financially and probably wouldn't do over a million buys, if that. However, he's easy, he's undefeated. Still it'd be a tough sell.

Khan is coming off a pretty disappointing performance against Chris Algieri. He pretty much verified in that fight that he's open for left hooks and right hands all night and legitimately has a glass chin. It's 3 things that are enticing to Mayweather, and still, it'd be a hard sell. Khan has brits, but boxing fans know how cherry-picked this fight is and casual fans, especially in the U.S, don't know who Khan is.

If I were him, I'd pick Khan. Easy win, may even score a knockout. It's probably the best financial option too minus Canelo, but he won't pick him.

Cotto's an option as well; however, the two have basically made a public declaration recently that everything between them is done and that Cotto just has to get past his next opponent. So, I except to see neither of them available for Sept due to them fighting each other. (finally!)

After Khan, the PPV will probably be pretty disappointing. It may not break 1 million buys or just over. I think after that, I'd see Pacquiao getting off rehab, begging for a rematch, a pretty good narrative to play...I'd see even if 50% of the viewers watched, that they'd still set a #2 record. I'll see an easy win. Verify my place with a 50-0 win and the best fighter of the era. I'll also see 150-180 million dollars. So, I'll rematch Pacquiao for May 7th. Knowing we'll have to promote it more to get fans on board, I'll bring out my trash talky self and be the Mayweather everyone wanted to see the first go around. Which would immediately make the rematch better than the first fight.

"Pacquiao you aren't on my level. Manny Pacquiao you will never be on my level. Simple and plain. It's okay to be number 2. It's okay to be right behind me. It's okay."

Why? Thurman is no where near the level of Canelo, Khan or Pac moneywise. CATCHweather is going to look at it from a financial point of view. So forget Thurman and Golovkin who is too big for Floyd.

Fight some easy fight back in Detroit.

    But thats just me.

I cant see him going against some LMW or MW for his last fight.

Khan fight probably makes the most money so Ill guess he'll fight him
