Since Mayweather returned from hos retirement he's fought Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo, Maidana (x2) and Pacquiao.

Which of these, if any, is Khan more deserving of that payday than?

I would say he's more deserving than Ortiz, Guerrero and Maidana. Who got the fights by beating the comedy duo of Berto and Broner

If you're talking about at the time, he deserved the fight more than Ortiz in September 2011 but not more than Guerrero in May 2013

If you're talking now, he probably deserves it better than both guys at the time they fought Floyd, not to say any of them particularly deserve to be in the company of the guys on that list (bar Marcos).

    I am talking about now.

Beating Algieri, Alexander and Collozo >>> Beating Broner and Berto

I was going to pick Ortiz too but he was the WBC Champion and was coming off a fight of the year quality fight against Berto.

To answer the thread's question, Guerrero is my pick.

Ortiz had the WBC title and Maidana had the WBA title. Khan offers nothing in comparison to those.

So what? Mayweather doesn't care about titles. And look who they beat for them. Whoop de doo Berto and Broner.

I had Mayweather a clear victor in the first fight 8-4, which I didn't think was enough to warrant a rematch.

Voted wrong. Well despite the mandatory thing, the single big wins aren't as impressive as a body of work of a fighter, Khan is most likely above Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana 1, Alvarez and even Marquez due to the weight.
