I would like to see him do some rounds; so I would go for Dominick Guinn. I think Joshua would be first person to stop him, but I reckon he would need more than two rounds.

Joshua sells tickets now, he's only on this card to boost the ticket sales with the casuals. He'll always wheeled out as a Joshua UK tour act in between big fights.

He'd blast Hughie out of there in a matter of minutes

Can't see it being anyone lively the way Hearn is talking, the better opponent will be September

I reckon it will be Whyte in July. If AJ is headliner in Sept, can't be Whyte - not a name for casuals........Price perhaps?

Does this one really need a boost? I know Quigg isnt a huge ticket seller, but combined with Crolla in a world title bout I cant imagine it being a tough sell

July opponent will be a journeyman, probably someone who is unknown.

September will be a live opponent. I think it will be Whyte.

Yes I think Whyte in September, Eddie confirmed they are talking to him and he also kind of ruled out Price.

Browne is a good shout as he holds the Commonwealth belt. Perhaps Whyte in September for the British and Browne in December for the Commonwealth? They are both live opponents who would come to win.

I think Browne is a little underated, his footwork at cutting off the ring is actually excellent and his power is exceptional.

I consider him as the 2nd biggest puncher in the divison behind Wladimir. He has knocked out opponents in much more chilling fashion than Joshua has. Take Gavern as an example ... he retired after 4 vs Wilder and was in pretty good spirits vs AJ at the end. Vs Browne he was receiving medical attention and an oxygen mask.

If Hearn believes in Joshua as much as he says then these 2 opponents would be ideal to give Joshua the chance to end the year as British & Commonwealth champion.

The potential issue is that both very much have the power to KO Joshua and derail the masterplan. But he is at the stage now, where that risk is going to be there going forwards as it is the heavyweight division, so hopefully Hearn makes these fights.

No more Brazilian bin men or old fighters on 5 fight losing streaks like his last 2 opponents.

I would love to see him in the ring with Browne, that would be a great indicator of where he is in his development. Browne has real power and can take a punch, he's a crude banger but still a step up from the shot-to-pieces Kevin Johnson.

yeah Browne is tuff and can whack some.. He would come to win and that's exactly what we need to see AJ in against.
