His fluidity. He can punch on the move and doesnt load up on every shot like some boxers do. Hes sharp and can be pretty accurate with his combinations. Haye knew it was too big a risk. Its ok to say Fury has a weak chin but its a gamble that you risk your reputation hoping you can catch that chin when Wlads is even worse amd Wlad is shorter and he couldnt drop or even hurt him, in fact he barely landed anything. He has good stamina too. Plenty of top fighters cant live with him in sparring. Peter Fury said he called Tyson down to help out Johnson. Tyson was weighing 21 stone and Johnson got out of the ring after only 30 seconds! Peter told Tyson to get out and go home as there was no point him being there. Jason Gavern did the same. He asked Peter for sparring work but couldnt last 30 seconds and left. Peter was annoyed with him as hed promised he can do a job in sparring. Mike Perez also left the ring in 2008 in Ireland. As im talking about sparring apparently Price and Pulev are going in to spar Fury for the Klitschko fight.
Its not so much skill but physical attribute and thats his durability. He skills make up for this as when hes switched on and boxing he isnt easy to hit at all. Actual skills wise hes up there with the current best. He looks more natural than the current and previous WBC champs.
This. Also note Cunningham said he was a future hall of famer when he saw what he was truly capable of while preparing for Haye. Cunningham tipped Fury to win that fight and he said he never does predictions unless he shared training camps. And Malik Scott couldn't hang in there either having being forced to quit with two burst ears after only 4 rounds.
Poor Malik I felt sorry for him after I heard about this story Cunningham said it was the hardest sparring he ever had
Yep, hes a bit of an animal in sparring, very competative. Id like to have seen what happened with Joshua. I have read that it was mostly grappling.
