    After all the talk about geale being a quality fighter who ggg could destroy in two but cotto would have problems with....to overrate ggg and make him look like something he's not. cotto proved that geale is what we thought he was. a BUM. just like stevens (exposed by ndam) and murray, macklin, adama and the rest of ggg's pathetic resume.

    - geale came in more seasoned than in the ggg fight and as a CRUISERWEIGHT....he was better than the version who fought ggg and he got blown out with even more ease by cotto.
    - ggg struggled with willie "baby worm" monroe for chrissakes.

    Let's be real about this: ggg has been beating bums and getting way more credit than he deserves. Against a live guy, meaning any of the following names: cotto, canelo, jacobs, lemieux, lara, ndam, quillen, ward and maybe froch, ggg would find himself in a lotta trouble. probably a KO victim in more than a few cases...i know boxing is always looking for the next big thing, but if anything, ggg has been exposed as just another face in the crowdat the upper levels of in the mw div.

    Don't fool yourselves...at this point, aint nobody ducking ggg.

    So after GGG only fight bums.. why did Cotto fight GGGs leftover then when he is just a bum you stupid troll :deal

    Cotto should fight GGG next, there is noo need for another time ducking GGG :thumbsup

    Thread title is partially true, the OP itself is not.

    - Cotto beat a worse Geale.

    - MW is incredibly weak outside of the top 2 fighters

    - GGG's best win was/is Geale, so Cotto doing what he did tonight was impressive

    - I think Cotto would beat everyone GGG has beaten in dominant fashion

    Also, people do realize that if GGG and Cotto do fight - Cotto is gonna drain him, right? I see no way Cotto fights him at 160. Would be another 157 CW.

    I still favor GGG by TKO, but i'm a lot more hesitant now. Cotto winning wouldn't really surprise me.

    true i don't think it will be as much as an issue as ggg is a small middle weight. i do think the fight will be closer than i thought before last nights match. i also think when cotto was *****ing, moaning and acting like a diva about geale weight, i thought he have no chance against ggg. Now i am least certain this is the case but more certain i want to see this fight

    how was geale worse? geale had faced ggg a couple of fights ago...so he had that experience of facing an elite 160 pounder...that makes him more seasoned. besides, geale was basically a cruiserweight for the cotto fight, making him far stronger and able to absorb the power shots than in the ggg fight....geale was CLEARLY better. it's just that ggg is SO overrated...that even when ggg beats a bum, it's made out as if he beat marvelous marvin hagler.

    How was he a better version than the one GGG fought if he was fighting under catchweight and rehydrated 25 pounds? Think about it FFS. And welcome back cereal, it's nice to have your thinly veiled racism back.

    Exactly.......wow a welterweight can knock outsame guys ggg is knocking out .....a welterweight has two stoppages in his in ly two fights at 160.....ggg sucks and floyd would dominate him easily

    all this catchweight nonsense....stop the bull already....it was three friggin pounds. if geale couldn't bounce back after losing three friggin pounds knowing he had months to lose it, he's got serious issues. and i don't see how a guy who weighs in at CRUISERWEIGHT is weight drained. such transparent bul**** to try and justify what y'all knew was an ignorant thing to state to begin with...that geale would ever be competitive with cotto....all any fool had to do was watrch the dude fight...i said it again and again...he lost to mundine and barker and a buncha othe nonentities. coto would desroy him.... but y'all riding gggs' crotch so hard, callin geale a top fighter and saying he would beat cotto. geale seems like a good enough dude, but he was never, ever anywhere near cotto's class. he never stood a chance. y'all just need to get offa ggg's jock and tell him to man up and fight someobody real next time.
