Freddie Roach deserves all of the praise

I've heard a few claim he's overrated, he never deserved 7 trainer of the year awards, blah, blah

Cotto looks as good as ever, right after he hired Roach. He looks rejuvenated and more versatile.

Pacquiao has been at the elite level, most of the time under Roach. Also, Roach took a lot of heat for the Mayweather defeat, but was it all that bad, considering - 1. Mayweather did little and it wasn't because he chose not to, Pac's movement and tactics didn't allow Floyd to connect much. 2. Commenstators aside, Floyd's aura aside, fight was closer than many people think. 3. Pacquiao was not 100%

Floyd has made fighters look bad, he didn't make Pac look bad... They both made each other look bad but Floyd won due to Pac's inactivity, not because floyd did much himself.

In retrospect, Roach's tactics vs Floyd were probably not that bad, Pac just didn't execute, perhaps in part due to his injury... It could've been much worse

 

wrong. Floyd himself didn't look good, this was one of his least impressive wins of his career and this is a fact brother.

Tactics were fine, Pac didn't execute and probably due to injury.

Point is, Roach did fine, now shove that up your **** and deal with it. You fans sound bitter about this fight, as your boy didn't come out of it in impressive fashion and it seems Pac did have an injury. He won, so be happy about it..take the W, even if it was bittersweet.

 

Floyd did nothing, it was pathetic and this is why he is getting little respect. He couldn't gone out there and fought like a man, traded punches, try to hurt Pacquiao. Instead, he played it safe, ran around the ring for 12 rounds, barely hit Pacquiao with any punches that stung and won the fight by staying away from Pacquiao. A w but a pathetic performance and for good reason, he is getting very little respect for this win. Bittersweet, deservingly.
