Well Clev Bellew was a complete **** take, I can categorically say I won't be paying for Campbell Coyle if it is either

 

The Coyle fight will last as long as Hearn wants it to !! After the Cleverly fight at the weekend there was an interview with Hearn when he spoke to Cleverly before he went out and he was a filler fight. Hearn asked him to really put it on him from the get go .... 14 secs later ....

Makes u think how much influence Hearn has over his fighters as to how matches go?

 

Would never completely rule out buying a PPV.

Bellew vs Clev 2 was rubbish so I didn't buy it!!

Rule Brittania was a quality card so I did, all depends on the card itself, I'm sure there's some Hearn will come up with this/next year that I won't have interest in and there's some I will. Nobody gets forced to buy PPV, if you don't feel it's worth it don't buy it IMO.

Only ****heads still pay for ppvs

 

or those who can afford it (not me usually!!).... The last PPV was a very decent nights boxing ironically for the more hardcore fans than the casuals the first 5 fights were far better than the latter fights without question. There have been some right farces howvever ill give you that

 

I don't think it is a case of drawing the line on all PPV's, you would be better served by judging each one on their own quality without thinking about previous, people wouldn't have bought the 30th May card at the O2 because of the Bellew PPV, and they would have missed a great night of boxing.

 

Never missed a live fight on TV that I wanted to view, never purchased a PPV and never will.

The concept is geared towards ripping off customers already subscribing to a multi sports channel including boxing.

I can easily afford it but will never fork out more on principle as there are less fortunate around.

Fights were made before PPV and will be made long after PPV is gone.

What is coming next Gavin v Skeete 2 on PPV or Josuha v Liverpool Plumber

Even Big Abdul at Sky ashamed at what is happening with the shafting of customers with Premiership Football and Boxing.

Eddie is after another 2 PPVs this year but Abdul also stated that Sky are not making anywhere near the PPV numbers achieved years ago with the big fights.

At the end of the day if your a boxing fan and you want to watch it youll pay it , its much the same with the WWE wrestling ppvs for your kids if you want it youll pay it , tight ****s have spent more on a takeaway

 

Isn't it about quality, if there was a card every 2 months with 2 world title fights and strong undercard I'd pay £20 to watch it

 

Agree, I am happy to pay for good quality match up it doesnt always have to be big names they have to be big fights tho ie. titles AND competition ie 50/50 fights or close to it.

However there are those out there and I will use Kell Brook as an example that will be huge fans of his and followed his whole career every second of every fight on Sky and now because they cannot afford it cannot watch Kell,cos lets face it the majority of his fights whilst he holds the IBF will on PPV especially if its a well known name. That person may not have the money to further follow their fave boxer that they have supported their whole career. I will say that PPV's used to be a huge affair in which ONLY massive fights would be staged AND a great undercard not anymore sadly lucky if we get one or the other. The last PPV is easily the best PPV I have seen in a good while ..... really long time! which is rather sad these should be as close to a guaranteed good night due to price as we can get.
