I don't understand, the whole thing with Golovkin is that no one wants to fight him. However. when someone expresses an interest in fighting him, then they have to jump through hoops to get the fight. Golovkin says he wants to fight Mayweather at 154. Does he have to win a title at 154 to get some cred at that weight? That actually gives me a good idea. Lara fights at 154 and holds a title there. Maybe Golovkin should Lara at 154. That way he can get some cred at JMW and be deserving of a fight with Mayweather. Two birds with one stone.

Show me the rule that says that Lara can't fight on HBO. There is no such rule. If Golovkin doesn't want to fight the guy then he won't fight him. We all know ( or should know ) that the barrier between HBO and Showtime can be breached. If GGG really wants to fight Lara, it can be arranged. It seems that Lara really wants to fight him because he has been calling him out for a while. That's not to say that he will win the fight but he is up for the challenge. Like the man said, if GGG can call out Mayweather then Lara can dam sure call his ass out.

 

Why did Kathy Duva recently try make a fight between Kovalev and Stevenson? And Mayweather just fought on HBO.
