Molina had Wilder on chicken-dance street, what will Povetkin do to him?

To be honest, i think Wildest has more of a chance against Povetkin. Povetkin is the best between heavyweights up to 6'2, but he's simply LOST and HOPELESS against tall, rangy opponents.

He wouldn't know how to cut distance, how to avoid the much longer reach, how to get inside and work the body.

    Povetkin CAN'T fight tall opponents.

I think Wilder could win a clear decision. No way he stops him, but he wins.

If I was Wilder I would try to get a unification match vs. Wlad for a 50/50 split on a huge pot rather than get 75/25 vs. Povetkin for a modest purse bid. He will lose either fight, the question is how much money will he take home.

I disagree. How do you know AP doesn't do well against tall fighters? He has only fought Wlad.

I think AP's technical skills surface against DW and lands some counter that knocks DW out.

Povetkin must be desperate to get Wilder in the ring after that.

I like this fight. Two guys that need BIGGER names under the win column :thumbsup

If Wilder will box like he did Stivern he can pull this out but he is going to have to show he can also get put on his aze and get back up to finish the job:deal

This will be a great fight and both guys will take some hard punches and maybe get hurt badly several times and this will not go past 6 :-(

    :hat

In fairness Joshua is untested himself, and his chin has similar doubts around it.

How is Povetkin overrated? He is the only non-title holding HW who beat half a dozen plus legit top 10 fighters over the last 6 years. If any HW deserves a modicum of hype then its Povetkin!

How the f*ck can you say he struggles against tall fighters? The tallest fighter he fought was Klitschko and he got hugged to death. Plus, the man has a very good amateur pedigree.

It's pretty clear he was grossly overrated by a lot of boxing fans, including me, off the Arreola wins. Wilder's performance last night pretty much confirms this.

Molina certainly came closer to winning than Stiverne ever did. I don't know what Stiverne's game plan was, maybe he had none to begin with.
