I think he made the most of them.

He was never going to be elite; never in a million years.

How is it a lie when two people have now said it happened. Also calzaghe was at the same night and wasn't charging a penny.

Hatton denial's are probably why he went off the rails, that goes for most people, the easy it is to accept the truth the easier it is to move on.

Looking back how can a badly conditioned **** head really beat a well conditioned strong boxing technician like mayweather, it's easier for him to blame Cortez rather than just face facts.

For him to keep blaming everyone else but himself shows a big flaw in his character as a man.

You have to be a complete and utter moron to hand over £20 to take a picture with anyone, let alone Ricky ****11n Hatton.

Think he could have recovered after the pac defeat had he properly looked after himself and get himself back to near world contention, and would have had a much longer career

    Disagree.

His style was never going to favour longevity, never mind his antics outside of the ring (eating like every meal is his last meal).

Besides, 147 was DEEP at that time.

    Cotto
    Margarito
    Moseley
    Clottey

    Hatton struggles against them all.

Was it at a charity event? Remember Froch at a charity event charging £10 a photo, or to sign memorabilia. All the money went to charity, I have no problem with that.

Hatton didn't really fight at 147, only a couple of excursions there. Hr was mainly a 140 fighter and outside of Pacqiauo i still think hr would have beat most of those guys.

Remember Malignaggi and Urango went on to become world champs after Hatton. Beating Urango is what put Devon Alexander on the map.

But i agree Hatton should have avoided 147 like the plague. I remember after the Golden Johnson fight, Marharito called Hatton out.

I'd have fancied Hatton over Cotto and maybe Clottey.

Shane and Tony would have tooled him, IMO.

Ricky is def more of a pie n mash guy tbh

    Much higher class than Nandos

At least pie n mash is a bit cultured, a bit partial to it myself and will always go to a good one

The main problem with Ricky, is that hes a fcking moron lager drinker

If he had been sinking 2 pints of real ale a day in a calm manner and discussing Tressel, Hemminway, ****ens and Joyce over said pints, instead of 10 pints of Fosters chemical water with a couple of jagerbombs and singing karoake out of tune and doing the worm on sticky floors, we would have had a better fighter
