Lee could stop him but if fight actually takes place I will go with Billy to win on points, properly around 117-113 scores
This could be a great fight. I agree with what most of you are saying that Lee will be to strong for BJS and it will be a late stoppage
BJS is too skillful for Lee. I think Lee will struggle against anyone who isn't prepared to go toe to toe. BJS frustrates him and wins by UD.
I'll go Saunders points. Lee can be outboxed and Saunders is certainly good enough to do that. Lee has that right hand though which can level any fight
gone for lee here, his draw with quillan after going down early showed he's a level above to me, BJS seemed to struggle against eubank from round 6 onwards. Think lee will win a late ko or close points decision not sure BJS should be fighting so soon before hand, I agree with keeping busy, but 6 weeks before any little cut or head clash could jeopardise the fight.
Lee doesn't walk people down or try to outstrength people like Eubanks. I don't think he will try and walk down billy joe.
Billy seems to always be able to do just enough to win (a good trait to have) against the competition he's been up against so far... BUT I have seen a few times where he seems to fade a little down the stretch and even with the bags of skill and talent he has, he can be pulled into a fight. I think he would frustrate Lee, but if he does get pulled into a fire fight or does start to fade then Lee will certainly capitalise.
I'm a big fan of BJS and I think he wins the first 6 rounds of this fight but begins to tire and wouldn't be surprised if Lee stops him in the later rounds. Just think Lee will be too big for him and we all know he can bang. Hope I'm wrong. Great, great fight if it goes ahead!
What's all this about Lee being too big! Until recently he was a light middleweight...(well briefly anyway!)
Lee doesn't throw much or put pressure on his opponent. Which almost every fighter has try to do to Saunders. Blackwell osullivan ryder Eubanks. Lee will either outthink Saunders and land some huge shots or get outboxed. Saunders hasn't got the best stamina but only when he's been chased by his opponent for 12 rounds. Now jimmy tibbs said billy didn't use his left cross enough against Eubanks. And that's true when he couldn't miss jr in the 1st half he should of hurt him more. Hopefully he puts it on lee a bit, who can be dropped and stunned.
True. Andys low workrate/punch output could cost him a lot of rounds on the cards, particularly early rounds, - cos billy joe will be shoeshining away like billy-o from the start.
