I've never heard a gag that needed "proving correct" - so why does your "gag" need your several paragraph attempt to "prove" its correct (below) - don't flee from replying, Duck, I'm not carl froch. why are you doing the equivalent of trying to yell " why not calzaghe?!" into a discussion about the greatest HW ever.
Don't be so self conscious, you don't need to keep editing your post. It was fine when it said Dawson What do you mean "proving right" you mentalist? You think I was trying to prove to you that Zaggers is one of your favorite fighters? I was hoping you'd just be a sport and say something like " Ya right, mate" in response. Instead you go with this.... "during the kessler hype we all began watching him true, but on closer examination, the terrible lies he tells, an abhorrent marital life, drug abuse, poor % strike/damage ability and cowardly showboating against weaklings disclude him from being someone to look up to. Hes really not someone to look up to, like Hamed (though Naz was much better in the ring)." I only responded to the inconsistent logic in that quote. Like I said, learn to have a laugh at your own expense every once in a while. :good
Keep editing away It's not an equivalent of that at all, mate. It's an equivalent of me pulling MVC's leg about the Herrera/Garcia decision. To which he always responds with some good natured bants even though we disagree on who won the fight. You just need to lighten up
No wonder we disagreed on Holyfield/Lewis resumes Holy is one of my top-5 favourite fighters of the last 20 years, and though I like Lennox, he's much lower in my list of favourite fighters. So I follow boxing from mid 90's and my favourite fighters of the last 20 yrs are: Barrera Holyfield Foreman Chris Byrd Vitali Klitschko
:good Holy was the definition of a warrior in the ring. Larry Merchant said it best when it came to Holy... "If he weighs 205 lbs, his heart weighs 204"
You're a nutter, mate. Don't know what part of this you think you "won". You took what was meant to be some light hearted banter and turned it into something serious. Brave, I suppose.
an equivalent to banter in an argument, ok. So at last you admit that your post wasn't a purely gag at all, but actually an argument disagreeing with me. good. that's all that's needed.
You are mental and paranoid, mate. What I said to you was purely 100% a gag. I don't know how you extracted one sentence about myself and MVC not scoring the Herrera/Garcia fight the same way but still being able to laugh about it to mean that I was "arguing" with you that Calzaghe actually is one of your favorite fighters. atsch There was never any "argument" to be had. We are both 100% aware of your dislike for him. I thought you'd be able to laugh at someone "you must have forgot Calzaghe" on your favorite fighters list. Like CST does when people pretend he likes Cotto. Sure, it wasn't the greatest joke of all time. But it was purely a light hearted gag and something I figured would give you a chuckle.
SEE - my comment you replied to, which consisted of a ONE liner, and had no huge counterargument like yours had one, mine was a gag. but u took it as serious. just to underline how badly you are at sea here - you are committing the very mistakes u wrongly claim someone else is doing.
You're a nutter and not a big enough man to admit you just missed the boat on the joke. Sad, I was hoping we could just have a light hearted laugh. I also don't think you know what a one liner is MY comment was a one liner. This.... "during the kessler hype we all began watching him true, but on closer examination, the terrible lies he tells, an abhorrent marital life, drug abuse, poor % strike/damage ability and cowardly showboating against weaklings disclude him from being someone to look up to. Hes really not someone to look up to, like Hamed (though Naz was much better in the ring)." is not a one liner
