Didn't surprise me. Thought coming in that Werdum was going to be too well rounded for Cain on the ground and on the feet.

Someone said that Rousey is now the UFC's flagship fighter. With Cain losing and Jones getting stripped and suspended along with Anderson Silvas demise, it is probably true. How sad is that?

    Congrats to Werdum, well deserved!

If any fighter deserved to win that strap, it was Werdum.

He is so well-rounded now it's scary, especially if you remember the Werdum from 5-7 years ago...

I'm glad Cain lost. His style is terrible - cage control, cardio for days, no power and no submission skills. He's a grinder, and they get boring to watch after a while.

Crazy to think that Arlovski might have a shot at the belt 10/11 years after first winning it!

Cain/Mir should happen next, or Cain/Travis.

Glad to see Werdum live up to his potential. He's a great fighter, and now he'll finally get the recognition that he deserves.

Nothing against Cain but I just loved how Zuffa's pre fight rhetoric about Cain being the "best heavyweight of all time" was burnt down in flames by a guy who they cut six years ago. Premature much Zuffa? LOL.
Also Cain's fighting style is annoying to watch. He's MMA version of John Ruiz. I dont care what any grappler says because its clear that guys like Cain smother opponents in tight because he's scared to death of getting hit. At least Werdum had the sense to develop his stand up game and not just rely on one thing.

Werdum's clinch was a thing of beauty.

Yeah, and if Arlovski fights Werdum again... :ibutt :ibutt

I was expecting better from Cain. Maybe it's time for him to change his coaches/training

I was really shocked at how bad Cain's cardio was in the fight. He used to be a cardio machine but he looked like he was gassed out by the 2nd round.

Altitude, and lack of training at it for a long time whilst Werdum trains at it for months = Disaster!

Not too mention those knees and leg kicks must have took it out him.

Getting his ass kicked could have a big effect on ones work rate and stamina. Cain was on spaghetti legs and done by the end of the 2nd round. Cain was hurt bad and about to get KTFO of course he didnt look energetic and exuberant. That dummy Joe Rogan started this gassed after 10 seconds excuse ****e. Cain was beaten up and could barely stand. Cain had to try for a take down because he was getting lit up standing.
