Well danny Jacobs could force his position as GGG's mandatory but he doesn't, yet GGG gets the flak? And if GGG were to fight Mora everyone who dislikes GGG would bash him for that. The double standards are horrendous on here.

 

What's with Jacobs? This guy's opposition is laughable. Him and his team must constantly have Pirog flashbacks so they temper his opposition and leverage him gift wrapped titles. Probably ovrpay him as well.

He is the Regular champion, GGG is the Super champion, the Regular is the Super's mandatory.

And we are talking about boxing not life obstacles. Stay on point. You have been rendered irrelevant.

Who is Jacobs best win exactly? Golovkin's resume isn't mindblowing but it is much better than Jacobs

There's a difference between fans and fanboys. I believe he has skills and is a good fighter but he hasn't fought an elite opponent, whether by his own fault or others unwillingness to fight him i do not know only those involved would truly know. But to say he is a crud fighter is totally biased especially to people who call themselves boxing fans. Do i like Floyd as a person, no I do not, but in the ring he is a skilled and talented fighter. People said Calzaghe was no good and his two biggest ones came at the end of his career and some people see him as an atg. You can not judge a fighters career until it is OVER.

Mora is a Haymon guy, and has never been seriously considered for GGG. Monroe did more in winning Boxcino and beating Vera to earn shot than Mora has done. Which says it all.

I don't dislike Mora, but he would not be competitive vs GGG and no one really thinks he would be. Monroe was better honestly, at least he was young and fresh and had some boxing skill and quick hands. Mora is a bit shopworn, and has been struggling in his fights. Not to mentioned being on the wrong side of the business equation.

If you are going to hope for a Haymon/HBO mini-thaw, at least hope for a Lara fight. Lara is still prime, looks sharp and has good skills. Not that I think he is terribly competitive either, but i'd give GGG a lot more credit for beating Lara than Mora.
