dont know what fight you were watching, but it wasnt even close. Broner lost at least 9 rounds from what I saw

 

Nah, Porter won that cleanly.

 

Porter defeated Broner even more clearly than Brook defeated Porter.

 

Ugly fight, I thought it was 8-4/9-3 ........ Broner landed the cleaner punches, but thats usually the case when all you do is counter and don't use the jab at all. It was definitely not enough of them to win most of the rounds. I thought he won the second and there was one in there 6/7/8 (can't remember) that I thought was a pretty clear Broner round, but nobody else seems to agree so maybe it wasn't a clear Broner round. He definitely lost the fight, no doubt about it.

Broner isn't a come forward fighter, but he doesn't have the jab or the movement/footwork to be an elite "boxer". Its pretty obvious he needs a ton of work. I doubt he gets it.

Being an assclown has worked for him so far and I don't mind that. Working the mic and being a heel has elevated him to attention that he otherwise wouldn't have received. It draws more attention and viewers one way or the other. Well played. But, those million dollars paydays only keep coming if you beat top guys while being the "heel".

He has stepped up twice to quality fighters and both times he has clearly lost. The next time he steps up, you can't put him in with the same kind of fighter again. He may lose lose either way, but it would be bad matchmaking to put him in with that kind of fighter again.

 

MVC does a better job at trolling. I give this a c.

Commentary was horrible, and Farhood was trying to find anything he could for Broner.

Bottom line is Porter controlled the fight.. and punched Broner a lot more than Broner punched him. Lots of those body shots werent pitty pat work, or if they were Broner just too out of shape cause his gut was bouncing all over the place. Then he grabbed on for dear life.

Easy UD for Porter.

 

Broner was so bad, it even makes Mayweather's decision to help him out embarrassing, for Mayweather.

 

Mayweather looked disappointed when the camera panned to him. As crazy as Broner is, they're still buddies.

 

I only gave Broner 3 rounds including the last round.

 

He won 3 rounds max, frankly he should have had more than one point deducted for clinching. As I've been saying all week, Broner is the Emperor's new clothes.
