People ****ping on him like he is a bad fighter He has skill, but obviously cant hang with best at 147 If he can make 135 he would be a top lightweight At 140 he could be top 5 maybe (Lucas, Postol, Provo, Herrera)
He was draining himself at those weights to gain an advatage. Those were never his actual weights. Anybody can be good if they have as big an advantage in size as he did not to mention he stayed very briefly at those divisions while not even fighting the best.
No, I'm not sure I favor Broner over anyone in the top 140 lbs. 135 lbs. isn't a good division, though. Easily, one of the poorest divisions in boxing at the moment.
He left 135 because he can't make the weight anymore. Like said, he was just draining himself at the weight and used his size and weightadvantage to bully his opponents. And even then he needed a couple gifts to get by the tougher kids on the block. He can try at 140, and with a couple of belts vacant there he might be able to catch some low hanging fruit. But I doubt he can stay there for long and so will probably become some high level gatekeeper at 147.
