How scared would some of these dudes be if they took clinching out of boxing?

The creators of this sport came up with the perfect rules for this sport even as it evolved. The above that you type makes you look like the coward that you were born armchair.:rofl

At least he had the heart to type this statement. I'll give him that lol.

Floyd is almost 39, obvious he can't run circles around the ring as he used too.

Wlad might lose more ... then again, he might be forced to let his hands go and deliver a few sensational beatings.

This might be the dumbest ****en question that I've ever been asked.

You guys don't really apprecitate boxing. You only like the fighters that you like, and when they lose to a guy who you think clinched too much...you get extremely ****ed.

You see a few fights where YOU think a guy clinched too much and you want to get rid of clinching.

What's next...if a guy uses the jab too much you'll want to take away jabbing? Oh wait, what if a guy moves too much. You'll probably want to introduce a new toe to toe method of wanting fighters to stick one foot in a truck tire, and one outside and go toe to toe? First one who steps out of the tire loses?:nut

yup. we have good fights of all time without/minimized hugging like marquez-vasquez, barrera-morales, pac fights, james toney fights, roy jones fights, etc. clinching really destroys the evolution of boxing. fighters will no longer need to stay fit for stamina because they clinch all fight long if this is not checked.

Clinching has always been in boxing. Clinching will always be in boxing. That will never ever change. To fantasize about it's elimination is just that. A fantasy. So get real and deal with it.
