is floyd serious when he says karim mayfield or andre berto?

    he seems very serious.....he even said pacman chose algeiri so why can't he fight any of those two?

    Berto wouldn't be a bad choice if he is fighting Pacquiao in the Spring.

    I've been under the impression Floyd should just fight whoever he wants, and somebody he thinks he'll look good against so he can put on a show. Nothing to prove, just provide some entertainment in your last bout. That would mean picking somebody a level below the usual boxers he'd be choosing from.

    doubt it. at worst he fights a diego chaves or sadam ali, and those wouldn't be any worse than Algieri.

    Probably not.
    He would get massacred in the press and at the forums if he choses Berto, and if it's Mayfield then they would actually go berserk.
    Floyd knows, and he will probably chose a soft touch most can live with and sell it as a farewell

    No. When pressed about him saying Berto or Mayfield, he answered, "S*** happens." And laughed.

    The entire room started laughing when he said it people. He was joking. It sucks for those two guys because Floyd is basically making a joke at their expense but hey. Actually I'm surprised he even knows who Karim Mayfield is, lol. Floyd claims to not watch tape so how does he know about a D level fighter with no affiliation to his gym?

    I honestly just thought it's to annoy amir... berto trains with virgil & so does mayfield? Just thought it was floyd joking to wind khan up saying he's gunna fight 2 guys from the same gym...

    To be fair Berto would be a bad pick but you could get over it but picking Mayfield would be the worst pick in the history of sport. Like who the hell is Karim Mayfield.
