I'm expecting more info to come out about this soon. Apparently Floyd feels that he has beat everyone he could beat. He doesnt want to derail a young fighter by beating them. He might be fighting two top ten ranked opponents (by an org) and take two quick 10 rounders and retire.

Word to spread sometime this week.....

He can do what he wants. If Ali or Duran wanted to take a farewell fight against an easy opponent, we wouldn't have problems with it.

Matter a fact, Ali did fight and lose to Spinks

Why would he ever announce this? As opposed to just doing it and spinning the quality of the opponent like he did with Guerrero and Ortiz.....

His next fight is guaranteed money but the one after is not. It would be cool if he headlined a PBC card against a bum as a farewell kind of thing

Still butt hurt I see from some of these posters. This wouldn't of happened if all you Floyd haters didn't hype up a puppet who goes life and death with JMM thus creating the "Mismatch of the Century". Manny is an elite fighter but he was never close to Floyd's level. The world tried to create a mythological hero that never existed so by your creation, Floyd really doesn't have nothing to prove and can fight whoever he wants. It's common sense, it's no conspiracy or secret. Illuminati is not at play. Don't understand what more you guys want a 38 year old a lot of you never give credit to anyways can do. He got his 200million. You clowns discredit you're own media creation. Time to find another dominant figure of their respective field to hate on. I suggest Lebron James. I think he's going to win the next three seasons if his team can stay healthy lol.

Anybody remember when Ricky Davis intentionally shot a missed shot on his own rim to collect a rebound and get a triple double?

That would make sense if he fought non title fights which if that was the case, it wouldnt make sense to make a stink about keeping any of the belts.
