    Mora is a much more proven fighter than Monroe for example

    Truax was around top 10 aswell

    I think the only way Jacobs could win in the public eyes in this one is to KO Mora.

    Yeah other than Mora lost to Vera twice and Monroe shut his ass out 10-0 and dropped him as well, Mora shoud have lost to Abie Han he's a worthless opponent as was Truax, they're protecting Jacobs and his fragile mandible.

    That was a SD in an 8 rounder, Boone is sporadically decent, you should know better and be better than that, Boone also happens to have beaten Adonis Stevenson by KO and is Kovalev's one quasi blemish.

    Mora isn't that good and you know it. Its a walk in the park for Jacobs.

    Ahhh no. Mora would get UD'd, not win a round against Monroe. It didn't take Monroe 2 fights to try and beat Brian Vera.

    Theres triangle theories, and then there are levels.

    Monroe is a level above Mora. Mora really should have lost officially to Han even. Monroe at least won an ESPN tourney and outclassed Vera. Yeh, its not exactly HOF stuff there... and noone is claiming it is. But at least he was young, fresh, and had been doing good work.

    Mora is shopworn, and has struggled with far lower caliber opponents.

    Anyhow, Jacobs is fighting Mora because its a safe all-Haymon bout. Its not a great fight, its not a terrible fight. Its just a fight. I dont dislike either guy, I think Jacobs is a cool cat actually. So is Mora.

    None of them will be allowed to face Gennady, Mora is a great and worthy opponent for anyone not named GGG, but if GGG fought him, there would be countless "GGG's bum of the month" threads.:deal
