Where's the "Fight won't happen" option?

I'd say the only way this fight happens is if both lose / or severely struggle on Friday.
Because that way it gives them both a bit of time to regroup & get back on the horse , in a meaningful fight.
They both win - then I don't see them risking it, because there'll be a loser & regardless of anything else, it's still a loser on the domestic scene.

Smith points win, I don't think this happens any time soon, and probably not until they booth step up to light heavy, but if they were to fight now that would be the result, plus it would give them a great rematch down the line.

It does seem early to pair them, kind of like when Groves faced DeGale or Saunders faced Eubank Jr.

Yes exactly but I don't think it is Eddie Hearns strategy to match them up early, Groves and Degale are great example of how you can match two prospects against each other and the loser doesn't get affected at all. In fact it favoured the loser as he has gone on to win a world title, like I believe will be the situation with Saunders and Eubank.

To agree I think it can be a good thing for fighters to take an L early in their career. A lot of fighters seem to avoid big fights to hold onto their 0. DeGale seems like he will fight anyone now. Even on the world scene guys lke Marquez, Hopkins, Donaire have been much more willing to throw themselves in at the deep end than most.

Agreed, look at Pacquiao, I am not his biggest fan but he took a loss early on and look how good he has become. You don't learn from easy wins, you either need a Kell Brook vs Carson Jones I win or you need to lose in order to improve.

Yep. Brook clearly learned a lot about fight preparation in that fight.
