This is a far more plaussible prediction:

Golota is FORTY years old - count 'em, 40!!!

Golota FROZE against punchers in his prime

    Peter punches like a MULE

All of that adds up to an early KO. I expect Peter to get rid of Golota pretty much the way Brewster did.:yep

You're leaving out one small, yet important, detail: Peter's hands are slow as **** and he telegraphs.

You know I pretty much would have agreed with this in the past, but this is a more determined Golota than I've ever seen. He's got a puncher's chance. I think this turns out to be a highly entertaining fight regardless.

So was Foreman. Golota like Foreman had experince and it will bring him a advantage to the table, being Peter can't really box great.

Maskaev wasn't young either, and he hasn't fought in a year prior to the fight with Peter. Yet Peter couldn't even manage to KO an old, inactive, and chinny Maskaev. Sure Peter won by TKO, but still that was just Maskaev. I remmeber you saying Peter KO 1 out cold. You're predictions are only based on chins, and thats pretty ****. If Maskev would of stayed a bit more active, he probably would of outboxed Peter.

    Peter is vastly overrated here.

    Peter is a puncher?

    Explain how please.

    Jermey Williams?

Golota evokes either strong loyalty, or strong hate, in boxing fans.

He seems to bring out strong feelings, either way.

Golota's had his chances and blown them. Dont think he has the dig he would need. The fat man will run him down I think.

Edit: no strong feelings either way mind :)

I liked him a LONG TIME. Lost a good number of bets on him.:-( The turning point for me involved some of his LEGAL Issues which I graciously wont go into.

While I woke up to reality too late? The Golota that showed up for Mollo? Is getting annihilated by Peter. Even if he comes in better shape? It's still not happening.

See Tyson, Lewis, or Brewster. Golota will finish yet another fight on his back.

It'lll probably be a very hard fought and tough fight that sees both fighters bounced off the canvas a bit, but I think Golota is gonna do it, this time.

    REALLY?

I'd like to see Andrew Golota win, for one reason: he's one of the best fighters to NEVER win a legitimate World Championship.

But Sam Peter is a tall (!) task for anyone, especially Golota. If Peter backs Golota up, he wins. The question is, is Golota prepared to take hard punches, get up off the canvas, and fight back?

He wasn't against Brewster or Tyson, big punchers. He was against Byrd and Ruiz, not big punchers.

Peter is a big puncher- SLOWER than Tyson and Brewster, but heavier.

I've got Peter, by seventh round knockout (longer than the Maskaev fight, shorter than the Toney fight).:yep

Peter is perhaps a little over rated. Golota is big, experienced, well schooled, and rugged. At 40 he looks solid. His loss of agility trades for maturity. I thought Maskaev was going to school Peter so I'm not going to yap too much but I'm confident in Andrew's confidence.

Maskaev was doing fairly well before he was stopped. I thought the scores were way too lopsided in Peter's favor.
