If the fight is to happen, picking a winner would be tough. I think both are a step below top European class but think both are capable.
Im a bit on the fence with this one, but if I really had to pick I would slightly favour Fielding (thats not based on last nights fights). I think Vera had seen better days and C Smith showed he could do 12 competitive rounds, but I would go for fielding.
Its funny how opinions change, I recall doing a thread asking people to pick a winner between Fielding and Buglioni, back before Frank had lost. I bet many opinions have changed since

True. I saw a thread from maybe 18 months back recently where most posters- I 5hit you not- pick Broner to beat Kell Brook.:lol::lol:

Anyone who thinks that now needs sectioning (as I stated they needed back then)

You can tell when Eddie is the ring after Callums win, that he does not want the fight between Callum and Rocky to happen, he's set on getting Callum on a collision course for the winner of Badou vs Groves.

The fight should happen but I'm almost certain that it's not going to happen for the British title.

:good Yeah. Hopefully they make it an Eliminator for a world title. I wish he'd send one of them (Smith, Fielding or Murray) after that title Abe and Stieglitz are holding hostage with endless rematches.

Honestly thought Hearn saw rocky as a Scouse super middle Tommy Coyle with Callum his Luke Campbell, ie build him up and cash out in a glorified 'development' fight for Callum, now I think Hearn sees rocky as someone who can get a belt and there's a payday down the line at the redeveloped Anfield between these two

If Callum Smith is not at least at European level how has he beat Rebrasse who until recently was European champ with relative ease ?

Rebrasse was no longer European champ. Still read what I wrote. I said top European level, which is the very top level at SMW, not the European title.

Hearn won't make this fight yet - he'll have it on the back burner to happen in 12 months time.
