    Cruz said big announcement coming soon a few days ago! Mares has said the same thing yesterday! I've wanted this fight!! I wanna see Cruz actually fight somebody good and Mares has been fighting decent guys since getting KO but nobody special!

    Loser really wont take a stepback. usually a loser does but i think nothing comes but good for the winner and the loser!

    Haymon bout to give that Mayweather card some juice So totally expect this 9/12!! WHo you guys got??? :bbb:bbb

    I'm a huge Mares fan, but ever since JG sparked him he doesn't seemt o have the same ferocity.

    yea i've noticed that! Thats why i want to see this fight. PPL wanna hate on Cruz competiton and thats fine but the kid has skills! Mares will have to fight back, oh it could be a classic!

    Huge step up for Santa C. I hope Mares has his batteries recharged cuz he needs to bring back his A game. This is gon be a good one if it happens!

    If Mares has his A game, know when box and when lay bombs, he can win. But if he goes toe to toe with Santa Cruz, I favor Cruz. Neither were big punchers, but they've improved on their power recently. Pressure is on Cruz.

    Mares wins

    They both have regressed, but Mares, I think, is still a level above. Santa Cruz only regressed because of his sh!t competition.

    This fight used to be hot, now it doesn't interest me much at all. Mares has looked like absolutely garbage and so has Santa Cruz. Both are struggling w/ terrible competition.
