    No. Pre-Maidana Broner was a bit better although not great himself. Of course styles make fights Diaz was tougher for Porter. And even still, Maidana destroyed Broner - Khan went life & death with Diaz. Maidana's performance was much better.

    Khan beat Maidana by 1 point on my scorecard (Judges had it 114-111x2, 113-112), due to a point docked by cortez for an elbow that missed...

    Irrelevant anyways since after that Maidana improved, where as Khan got beat by Lamont and his head taken off by Danny.

    I stand by Diaz being better than Broner :nod Maidana won more handily but he was against a lesser opponent so I must take this into consideration when evaluating the performance :think

    Fair enough. I just feel that Maidana was a much more credible opponent than Khan then. Khan's last 4 fights were: a SD loss to Petereson, a KO loss to Danny, an unimpressive UD over Carlos Molina, and a life and death fight with a past prime Julio Diaz.... Now That would've been a cherry pick

    Yes and much easier.

    Here is why:

    Khan has also changed his style to a grab and jab tactic. That worked very well for Alexander.

    Maidana changes are he boxes a little more than he use too- but that won't help him against Khan

    Also I feel Maidana has lost his hunger for the sport now (I started thinking that between Maidana 1 and 2 where he wore increasingly erractic outfits) and the way he's ballooned up in weight and not show much intrest in returning anytime soon mean he's probably happy with the money he got from fighting Maidana 2x
