Bob Arum d/b/a TOP RANK PROMOTIONS moved the Mosley-Margarito fight from Las Vegas (Nevada) to Los Angeles (California) within a month of the scheduled bout.

That is the same thing he is accusing Haymon of doing...!!!

You haven't even read the suit. How are you so sure?
You think Arum can't hire a good law firm to represent him? You think he's paying them to waste time? Boxing is a billion $ industry and US is the biggest market

US Supreme Court had ruled on boxing related cases before and in fact Arum's team cites them in this case. Violating multiple Federal and State statues is not a joke.

Out of court settlement is always a possibility.

    Wont get thrown out.

The problem is Haymon doesn't have standing to dig around anything TR would care about.

Plus an antitrust suit is not a simple contract tort, this is a different animal entirely. Including the legal muscle brought in to pursue it. You cannot base your view of this suit based on the history of contract suits we have seen. This is not "business as usual".

These idiots at Top Rank and GBP will open a can of worms with this suit. They will in turn be counter-sued and people will go look in their closets to. That's what most people here are failing to realize.:deal If you think Haymon and Co are just going to take this lying down you're crazy. They're going to fight fire with fire and watch GBP and Top Rank back off when they do.:deal

There's an old saying, " If there is only one lawyer in town, he will starve. If there are two, they will make a fortune." Lawyers file suits, it is what they do. You can't determine the merits of a lawsuit by reading one complaint. Let's wait and see what develops before jumping to any conclusions.

The advantages of buying/wasting time can be huge in the boxing business, and if nothing else, legal issues do take time and money.

Doubtful, Haymon has no standing to allege anything pertinent based on anything Arum has done. Not that Arum has been a clean operator, but Haymon has made far bigger waves.

You cant just look into peoples closets just because you want to, you have to have standing and a pertinent reason to do so. TR has been tame in recent years compared to some of their prior behavior, doubt there is even much to find.

That's what you think. People in boxing have information on Top Rank and just because me and you don't know anything doesn't mean there is nothing to be found on them. They could be investigated for stagnating the and undermining the careers of Rigo and Mikey Garcia for starters both of which were signed to Top Rank. That may be small but you can see what I'm getting at here.:good

None of these guys want to do business with Haymon then cry when he beats them at their own game. You fanboys need to stop this nonsense. Nothing will come out of this. Those networks were there for anyone to use. Funny it becomes a problem when Haymon jumps at the opportunity. Also the same tactics they're crying about, they've used before. This case is a big waste of everyone's time and false hope to haters thinking this is Haymons demise. Just wait, we'll get to hear everyone's dirt in due time. Anyone familiar with Visionquest. If not get familiar with it because I know a lot you idiots celebrating are stupid Manny fanboys.

The last person to go into business with Gaymon was GBP. Really, you think anyone would want to go into business with him after leeching off GBP and then stealing all its fighters from behind the scenes? Well, really, Gaymon was lucky he had Shaefer. Without him, none of this would be possible.

You can't steal from a coked out idiot that dresses in drag and is contemplating being the next Caitlyn Jenner bro. These guys are getting out played by a better business man. Plain and simple.

Oscar has no one to blame but himself he was a sleep at the wheel doing coke and dressing in drag instead of handling his business. Now that Haymon is running the game both GBP and Top Rank are mad and want to sue. They know the game but are mad that Haymon is beating both of them at it.
