    Should Loeffler send a cash offer to Ward for a fight in the late summer with GGG at 164, offer Ward the higher $$$$ split but incorporate a rehydration clause of 180. With a $100k/lb penalty and force ward top shut or get off the pot.

    Wouldn't be a bad idea

    Ward would probably not be able to meet those conditions and it would be a good PR move for Golovkin

    The risk is Ward actually agreeing and being able to make the weight :lol:

    Ward doesn't even rehydrate to 180 at full 168.

    I think he should do the same with Lara except at 158 with a 170 lb clause.
    Offer Lara a sizeable split....say 45% with a stipulation that HBO gets the broadcast rights.

    The risk would be on ward getting humiliated.

    Loeffler would want LA or the big room at MSG.

    WARD would be forced to fight on neutral ground with a crowd booing every time they saw him headbutt our grab on the big screen.

    Wouldn't play well with the judges

    We knew Smith was 186. & we know Rodriquez 191.

    All we know about ward was he was obviously the bigger man ...

    Yeah maybe

    It still a good idea I'd say

    Ward doesn't seem to want to do anything unless its totally on his terms so he'd probably turn it down

    Exactly. Giving a public offer of 164 is the same as Golovkin's people saying they don't want the fight.

    There is absolutely no way Ward can make 164 and not be a walking corpse. I don't even think he can make 168 without killing himself anymore. Ward/Kovalev is a more realistic match-up than Ward/Golovkin.

    Because Froch is the A-side, GGG would love Froch at cw but can't dictate terms.

    With Ward he can and he will.
