no way did he take 500 to hull. After hull was when he started doing well in ticket sales which was munroe. Eddie hearn didnt even know who josh was before the hull fight. Samir was Eddies dog in the fight and up to warrington winning in hull Eddie had never shown any interest in warrington whatsoever. The leeds lot were making a lot of noise at hull and maybe it sounded like he had 500 there but i waz in the middle of them and no way was there 500 at hull.they made a lot of noise and that got eddies attention. After that is when eddie started promoting warrington alongside VIP. He will of done ok with ticket sales at hull but up to this point in no fight could warrington of been called a BIG ticket seller.

He did 600 plus for the Speight fight and was long before the Hull show.

Matchroom signed him because he could shift tickets. As someone has pointed out, they didn't turn him into a ticket seller.

I've known Josh for years and his rise is bitter sweet for me. Sweet that its great to see him come through, bitter in that we should have signed him for Hatton. I recommended him and Damo Jones to the powers that be years ago, but due to us not having a TV deal it was a non-starter.

Warrington fairly easily in my opinion. Get that there's a lot of hype around him but Brunker looked very limited against Selby. Ok, Warrington is several levels below Selby but still think he'll be way to busy for Brunker. Younger, fresher, more confident, way faster hands, better foot movement, I can actually see Brunker getting a bit of a pasting.

Massively amused at eight people picking Warrington to win by KO. He makes Paulie Malignaggi look like Julian Jackson and people are predicting him to pick up a stoppage win. Hilarious.

    I voted Brunker

I thought Brunker would be too strong and Warrington's pitter-patter punches would be too weak to hold him off, get walked down and dragged into a brawl.

It was a quality performance but there's levels between Brunker and the top guys. He should have another one or two top euro level/fringe world level fights to prepare himself properly before he faces them.
