Why not? Hell, Antonio Tarver could be the next president of the United States if he puts his mind to it.

Can't wait for Wlad to say "what's your excuse this time, Antonio?" while Tarver lies unconscious on the canvas.

I don't see why Tarver doesn't give Wilder a go. He would have nothing to lose. Tarver has wasted too much time he should have been active after he beat Nagy Agularra years ago had he done that he could have got a big payday eventually.

Tarver has a legitimate shot at a title stylewise. He has enough power to KO flag and he's awkward enough that he might be able to outbox Wlad. Also no one has ever knocked Tarver out so he might have a good enough chin to go 12.

If it's left up to the judges or if he lands a lucky punch like he did with RJ then he could win. It's not likely he will be able to deal with Wlad's hugging and smothering tactics though.

I remember Roy Jones claiming that James Toney could beat a Klitschko too. Nothing better than a healthy ego. Tarver should hope that fight is never made. It would end very badly for him.

Tarver is too old for taking such a beating. He should call it after Cunningham.
