Did anyone else watch the Dennis Hobson promoted show on Spike TV last night? Firstly I've never had the privilege of seeing a Fish, Chips & S****s program before, which I found a bit odd with the presenter & Glen McCrory sat on old school armchairs using top trump cards to describe the fighters. Lol. I think it was topped off at the end of the interview with the fighter where the girl interviewing stated "didn't you think that was the best fight ever?" or something along them lines. Haha. Although saying that it was quite entertaining and intriguing. Secondly did anyone score the fight? Nav Mansouri was given the majority decision which seemed to mystified everyone. I made it 96-94 in Sheedy's favour and Glenn McCrory scored it by a wider margin for Sheedy. For me that included several close rounds which I gave Nav the nod, whilst the majority of Sheedy's winning rounds was much clearer with the Sheffield man simply connecting with the opponent consistent basis as Nav struggled to cope with Sheedy's quick, awkward southpaw style.
Yeah was a cracking fight and terrible decision IMHO!! Sheedy deserved to win and keep his undefeated record!!
imo the decision was close and even sam sheedy said afterwards that he couldnt argue with it. i had sheedy by one but i was sometimes worried when he spent so much time with his back against the ropes! would be a good rematch but both of these guys need to be busier in their careers
