If they put Joshua/Whyte on in addition to Wlad/Fury then I could see a case for PPV. That said, everyone in Europe with a satellite dish will be able to see the fight on RTL for free whilst the UK and Ireland pay for it.

I hope it is on ITV for arguably the biggest heavyweight fight on terrestrial TV since Lewis/Rahman.

One thing is for sure now though- Frank and Mick's relationship is over so win, lose or draw Fury will be fighting on Sky, ITV, Channel 5 or Spike TV in the future.

Even if so in boxing promoters and fighters will go where the money is. Frank would defect on his own channel and sell on to ITV or Sky if the price was right, guaranteed.

Fat Mick would do well not to mess about with Frank
If indeed he is trying to ice him out of the deal. There is a reason why team fury and Hennessy had to go with him on BN when things wasn't working out on channel 5 plus FW would have been paying them big money for beating up the likes of a worn out Chisora & Hammer etc.
Also I think it's also good to remember that this purse bid was for the WBA not the WBO - I still think this is along way from being resolved abs there will be some more shanigans going on especially as FW has this crazy Russian billionaire as well as Bill Ives at his side.

I think that K2 will have had enough of being fcuked around, especially at this stage of Wlad's career

Either the fight happens in October or it never happens, Wlad doesn't have time anymore to wait around for fights because the opponent's promoter/broadcaster had a hissy fit

How the fcuk does FW have that Russian financially backing him? Everything about FW him just seems shady as fcuk

I haven't been following everything that's been going on 100% so I'm not sure why you think the Klitscko's have been messed about? Bearing in mind the bros and their company are known to be one of the most awkward organisations in boxing to deal with plus all the dirty tricks they get up to with their opponents on there own promotions..there hardly angels.

FW started the negotiations months ago which
k2 confirmed and Wlad even came out and said he would fight in England. In all honesty I don't believe Frank really wanted it over here as it would be to many headaches. I think he would have been happy for K2 to promote and take it to Germany as long as he gets the TV..somewhere it's gone wrong and he realised he maybe being pushed out hence he sent the Russian to try to muscle the fight his way which hasn't worked it would appear but as I said I think there is going to be more chapters to this story

Why do you think FW having wealthy friends is particularly shady? This is boxing by the way so with all due respect if you want to a 'clean' sport go and follow bowls or something.

I think that both camps wouldn't want even a slim chance of the fight being in Russia- especially Wlad given the situation between the Ukraine and Russia currently.

Peter Fury last night tweeted that the UK TV rights would be sold to highest bidder so I suppose it could end up on Boxnation.

    Courtesy of Boxing News-

"Tyson Fury on… who will show the bout in the UK

I’d like the UK broadcaster to be the biggest platform that will make the most money for me. I’m a prizefighter after all. I’m not interested in fame but I also know that being a multi-millionaire wouldn’t make me happy as having a lot of money now doesn’t make me happy. BoxNation had from when I beat Chisora in our February rematch to just recently to make this fight but they didn’t make the fight and there’s a lot of big players out there. If this ends up on free, national television, we could go back to the days of 18, 19m, 20m viewers. They were talking an 80-20 split on the purse bid but I’d have taken it for free because I know I’ll take his title and make my money then."

    Cryptic stuff.
