was a decent fight but Conlan had absolutely everything in his favour...Home advantage, ref, size, height, reach, weight, crowd and was still lucky to win against a kid obviously divisions smaller

MGM gym is not ripping up any trees imo

Difference is butler took a beating against a guy that had every physical advantage over him. Look at tete stats longer reach than GGG taller than 3 of the feather weight world champs, fast, power and southpaw.

Who did Conlan fight again??? Someone who is no way near world class who had no advantage over him at all.

It was great for him to survive the 7th round and all, showed true heart to get back up from the first knockdown especially.

But no respect for the corrupt judging, because he lost that fight.

Its impossible to a win a fight by two points when you go into the 7th round level 3-3, and lose the round 10-7 as you knocked down twice. That leaves you 3 points down with the 8th, 9th and 10th round left.

I think we have a problem in the UK of seeing 30 'unanswered' punches as cause to get someone out of there even if maybe 25-26 of those punchs don't land.

Conlan went down from a body shot, not a head shot, let's remember that. He was covering well bobbing with the hands up and catching the vast majority of the shots on his gloves.

If that flurry occurred after the second KD, a series of blows to the head then yes it should have been stopped, but the after the first he had all his wits about him. Great refereeing. We should applaud that, not criticise it.
