Actually Froch had a lot of respect from critics before he fought Pascal.. true he lost to Kessler where Calzaghe beat him.. but he busted him up more in both fights.. won both fights in most people's eyes.

34 might not seem old.. but that's his age facing Andre Ward.

A 34 Mike and you understand suddenly.

Lately Eubank Jr and Fury. By merely making contender status, they by far exceeded my expectations of them.
    And Froch of course

Darren Barker?? Guy would have had an even better career and he still had a good one if it was not for all his injuries and his brother passing away. Outstanding talented boxer.

For me the biggest/luckiest overachiever has to be Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua aka AJ and the Future People's Champion he was gifted an Olympic hometown Gold and is now No 2 in the WBC rankings yet hasn't fought anybody in the top 60 !!!!

He will be exposed the minute he gets hit on his glass jaw

Froch. Considering he has zero boxing skills he's done well for himself

You don't win ABA titles and medal in the world championships if you have zero boxing skills.

Yes. Before the mouniemne fight I don't think anyone expected him to go on to be British, Commonwealth, European champion and pushing for a world title shot.

No question he's got heart and one if the best chin in boxing right now however skills are the most important attribute first otherwise you are just a punching bag.

He hasn't the best boxing skills but with the little he has and his chin he's gone a lot further than I would have expected.

Again I'm not knocking on the guy, just he's done way better than I would have thought
