    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

He may as well fight Berto or Mayfield because people will always complain. If he beat GGG at 160 people would say GGG was a bum/ drained and should be at 168/ Floyd ducked the Canelo Cotto winner.

And? He came back to win 3 straight in dominant fashion, including a lopsided win over then p4p number 3 Tim Bradley.

Who were the better options at WW at the time? You said he didn't belong in the ring with Floyd. How can that be true if he was a champion in Floyd's weight class and if he perfomed relatively well against Mayweather?

It wasn't the same version of Mosley, but Canelo does get credit. It's pretty convienient that Mosley is the guy a lot of people said he needed to fight before the bout took place, and then becomes meaningless after Mayweather beats him. He was rated highley at WW, p4p, was a title holder at WW and was coming off a dominant victory over a highly ranked fighter. You guys will dismiss guys like Mosley and then hype up Thurman. Thurman has less credentials and isn't rated as highly Mosley was at that time. A win over Thurman could be dismissed easier than a win over Mosley.

He does get credit, even though he beat a lesser version of Mosley. If Mayweather beat the same version of Mosely that Pac and Canelo beat, then he beat the same version of Mosley that Cotto beat. That's one of Cotto's best wins.

Exposed against Trout? He beat Trout, the same Trout that beat Cotto. How is beating a top ranked guy in your division not a significant win. Who has Thurman beat that's as good as Trout?

Lots of good fighters have done nothing against Mayweather. That doesn't mean a lot.

He beat Lara, another top ranked JMW. You are making little sense here.

Why are you contradiciting yourself? Canelo was more proven than Thurman. The same reasons you dismiss Canelo are reasons you could dismiss Thurman. Why is Canelo a worthless fight but Thurman is a real challenge? Let's at least be consistent.

I agree about Brook, but why would beating Thurman be a memorable win? He's not better than a bunch of guys Mayweather has already beat, and has less credentials than even a guy like Maidana who you totally dismiss.

These guys that you are saying he's handpicking were all top 5 rated, championship caliber opponents. They are more accomplished than Thurman, a fight you're pushing Mayweather to take. You are arbitrarily dismissing good fighters and contradiciting yourself just to push your agenda.

I want to see him in the ring with a young, fast, strong and quick fighter.

Just one time.... come on floyd. Can't you do it just once?

Thurman has already shown he has mediocre stamina.

Why does he fear him so much?

You're stupid. Nobody was saying this Thurman until it was officially written off. And people have said the same thing you're saying about Ortiz and Canelo. You're proven wrong time and time again.

You want proof you guys won't give credit? Look at CJ and Lady Girl, two haters who, on May 3rd, gave Mayweather credit. Then May 4th, they make excuses and go back to hating.

Look at boxing master... After Pac beat Bradley he said he's allowed to fight a soft touch on Algieri because Bradley is p4p 3. Well Mayweather just beat p4p 2 and is not given that same respect.

You haters will never give him respect or credit. So just stop now.

Really man? Just stop defending him.

Canelo is slow as a sloth. He's got bricks attached to his feet.

He's never fought anyone like Thurman before. He ducked young pac and young mosley.

He don't want speed, power and youth. Don't want it.

Careful matchmaking? So fighting Trout, PBF, Lara and soon Cotto is careful match making? Log off.

You're a joke he's fought guys better than Thurman before and if he did fight him and beat him you would just say Thurman was a nobody, who did he beat? He needs to fight a guy like Khan a guy who is fast. It doesn't matter who he fights you'll discredit the opponent and give him no credit afterwards and say he's ducking someone else. Your agenda couldn't be more transparent.

Zab was really a stylistic nightmare for PBF and it was an underrated win for him. He was really the only guy who had the ability to beat PBF to the punch and he was explosive. He had a good jab was a natural counter puncher and could actually counter PBF and box with him. I was hear on ESB back then and before the fight happened people were saying this would be the first time that PBF would be fighting a guy who was faster than him and was the better athlete people wanted to see how PBF would react against a guy like that. Some of the very same things you're saying about Thurman right now they were saying that and more about Zab Judah.:deal

I agree with this post. Zab was the first guy to be faster than Floyd.

But..... back to my point. Zab wasn't a big puncher.

Thurman is Zab plus more power.

When everyone is looking past Thurman's opponent this weekend then we might be in for a surprise. Y'all act like Collazzo already lost. Thurman better worry about the opponent he has in front of him before he dreams about the Mayweather match-up. Collazzo is no joke.
