Na he sounds normal to me from the area he is brought up in ... He just aint towing the "clean cut / sponsorship friendly" line and speaking properly and the same motto's ... "taking my time" , "part of the long time goal" etc... Guys just being himself, personally i prefer it over the say Joshua/Mayweather same interview over and over again

good luck to the lad , i applaud anyone that is willing to work hard and rise out of some of the 5hitholes these fighters are brought up in . people hating on him are pathetic , even more so if they are from UK . the kid could possibly be our next boxing sensation . you should be getting behind our fighters from whatever background they may have not hating on them .

But i thought that is what Brixton and Solaris jop was on here .... to have a go about boxers... I cant think of any appreciation threads these sorta guys create! I maybe wrong with Brixton but Solaris is a dedicated troller. Kinda feel sorry for they sorta posters that they cannot appreciate boxers and the sport the way most of us do.

The lad came across really well. Seems a genuine guy. Not sure how he sounds like a wannabe thug but I suppose this site wouldn't be the same without someone trying to knock the fighters.....

    Good doc.

Only critisism with it was no mention on his trainer Tony Borg who has trainded him from his fisrt pro fight. Chris Sanigar is his manager not his trainer.

No mention of his brother Andrew who is a world class amateur boxer and Olympion.

It didnt say his grandad was black just that he was from st lucia or at least thats how i remember it your just summising there although i do see the funny side.
I dont think selby is good enough to be a real strong world champ although he certainly is talented and i respect all the hard work and dedication hes given to get wbere he is. Lomechenko would marmalize him and post him back to his mum with a stamp on.

    Not a chance.

Him, Brook, Joshua, Campbell and Degale will produce a golden age for British boxing over the next 5-10 years.
