AJ will hurt him. Will need a good man in the middle for this cos he will need to step in before things get proper nasty
I hate the media bang wagon around AJ, however there is no denying that he's stopped everyone in from of him in impressive, savage fashion.... People on about Whyte being the one to upset the apple cart, I ask you... What on earth is that based upon? Cos to me he looks very raw - a lot more than AJ, he's very wild with his shots & looks like the type of fighter that anyone with a nice strong jab & right guard would get rid of early.... He's actually made for AJ. And I'm on no bandwagon just how I see it.
I think this is a dangerous fight for AJ, Whyte has no fear whatsoever and is AJ's first real live threat in my opinion. Regardless if it last a minute or 12 rounds Whyte will come to fight, will come with ambition and will come to win. I have to go with AJ but I would not be shocked in the slightest if Whyte causes an upset.
I'd like to see Whyte somehow pull it off and he is very tough so maybe he can absorb the punishment but I can't really see anything other than a Joshua T/KO at some point in a 12 round fight.
So glad the fight is made, because when whyte lands on aj's mantle its over. AJ is the sharper boxer, with the better jab, but he can't take a punch. Why do you think hes been put in there so long with guys who can't punch back Dillian has one shot power that will put any hw on the floor. Expect to see another price-thompson scenario. Best of all expect to see the AJ fanboys **** lovers disappear after the fight.
It was Whytes first fight! Whyte is also a totally different animal now. Years of being in pro camps keeping himself busy in tough sparring with both Klitschkos and the Furys. What has Joshua done other than be gifted the olympic gold? Audley won gold:hey
didnt dillian have a decent kickboxing or muay thai career before boxing? so it wasnt really his first fight!! i agree that teh training with klitschko and fury could help but on the flip side it can get fighters into the sparring partner mentality and it means in big fights they sometimes cant pull the trigger!! also agree about audley winning gold but imo his style was more suited to the amateur points style and at teh age he turned over it was always an uphill struggle to make the change! just look at tom stalker right at the minute. i fancy joshua to ko dillian whyte but not after maybe getting off the floor or coming through a major crisis.
This is going to be an interesting fight. The problem i see is that i don't think Whyte will be in there to long, i think AJ will get him out within 4 rounds. I have seen a lot of both fighters and also seen the amateur fight between them. i think AJ has gone to the next level and he will send a message out to the HW division
The question is why is whyte taking this fight now....does he really believe he can win or is it the pound notes talking
