Chavez was undefeated for 13 years in three different weight classes with record streak of title defenses and you're going to spin that into
"he got a gift when he stepped up"? Ignorance at best.

Once again, from now on just post "I'm stupid as hell and only post here cause I hate Chavez":deal

By the way how many current HOF fighters does FLoyd have on his resume?:hi:

it's a stupid argument since the goal is to win the fight and Duran lost in the end, its like saying herol graham was outclassing jackson until he got caught.

And? PBF is undefeated in 3 different decades in 5 different weight classes and still at 38 is on top of the game today.:hi: While at 38 JCC was getting KTFO again by Zoo.:yep
BTW he has 2 current HOF on his resume Hernandez and Gatti sson to be Oscar, Cotto Pac, JMM and Mosley:hi:

Gift:Chavez got a gift after being schooled by Pea Whitaker
Loss: He lost to an average fighter at best in Randall
KTFO: He was TKOed in the first Oscar fight
Quit: He quit against Oscar in the rematch

This is not true at all.

Have you even seen the fight?

Taylor took one of the worst beatings I've ever seen a fighter take. This is one of those cases where you could make an assumption that perhaps Taylor was winning the boxing match, but Chavez was CLEARLY winning the fight.

Chavez was beating the HELL outta Taylor. Taylor was never the same after that fight. It was a life altering beating.

I think Mayweather has a decent chance of running around the ring like a lil BlTCH, doin NO damage, and having his father call him a COWARD, but somehow still win the fight, and then act hard at the end by saying, "STRAP ME UP!"

It would've been a very good fight. I'd favor Mayweather, but he'd have to be alert for all 12 rounds in the match.

He's just the naturally faster man of the 2 and I think his reach advantage would be key in that match. I could see him outboxing Chavez from a distance and being very, very cautious anytime he was close in the pocket or pressed on the ropes.

I saw a couple fighters beat Chavez Sr while he was still in his prime that aren't on the level of Mayweather. Those guys were slick boxers, and none of them, outside of maybe Pea, are as slick or defensive as Mayweather is.

Now Aaron Pryor, IMO, would give Mayweather more fits than the great Chavez Sr.

IMO this fight would have looked more like Chavez/Camacho. Only difference being FLoyd has that shoulder roll but I doubt that would have made a difference against one of the best body punchers in the history of the sport.

Smoke and mirrors that's rich coming from a JCC fan. This guy faced taxi cab drivers and guys with with one and two career wins on their records while JCC had 30 plus fights plus Are you kidding me? If PBF fought a guy who was 1-6 for his 35th fight people on here would never let him live it down. The guy fought no one of hope until around his 50th pro fight.:rofl When he started to step up he started to get gifts lose get KTFO and quit period. Refute my post or quit responding to me.:deal

Take all those "taxi drivers" from his record and Chavez still had and enviable resume, only a hating, DKSAB poser would disagree.:deal

But at the same time, the best fight you got was one where the dude ran around like a bltch, and his father called him a coward, and he did NO DAMAGE with his punches and looked beat up at the end.

    I mean, that's not even a victory.

I mean, he didn't do any damage. He didn't FIGHT. He touch and goed.

    That's some bull****.

That's the best fighter ever? For real???

    That's some bull****.

This is boxing. If you sign up for this ****, you gotta be about it.

The only reason he got those pay days is cuz he ran his mouth. It wasn't because of his skills.

    Ain't n0body wanna watch a dude run.

    PERIOD.

I like the Macho Man (I'm originally from NY,) but Hector Camacho is NOT Floyd Mayweather jr. That fight would not play out in the same manner. Camacho had great handspeed, but he doesn't have anywhere near the technical ability or defensive mastery that Floyd does. His boxing IQ compared to Macho is considerably higher as well.

You also didn't factor in FLoyd is bigger than camacho and has about a 3 or 4 inch reach advantage. For a master boxer, having a reach advantage can be the difference maker.

Hey dummy how did that work out for JCC when fought Pea? Shoulder roll length the ability to control range and excellent reflexes not to mention PBF has arguably the best defense in the history of the sport Camacho didn't.:hi:

I wanted to give Mayweather his props. I wanted it to be a clean victory, one way or the other.

    But it wasn't.

I thought Pac won the first night I watched it. Then for some reason, I got it mixed up that Mayweather must have won, and I must have not been paying enough attention.

So, I watch it again, expecting it to be a master class from Mayweather.

Next thing I know, I see Pac whuppin his ass.

I'm like, this is some bull****.

And then the dude has the audacity to act ganster and say, "Strap me up????"

    Man, **** that.

    THat's some bull****.

Mother ****er is livin a lie.

I can't get down with that.
