How many fights has he had with Matchroom? Three? Maybe he thinks to get the biggest paydays he has to be over there.
I can understand it from a money perspective, but I would hate to be fighting on a Haymon card in the early evening, rubbish fans, rubbish venue, awful production quality etc. Seems utterly depressing.
This. I was really optimistic about what Haymon was doing but the events are awful. It's exposing boxing to a wider audience but I'm not sure that it's going to grow the sport a great deal long term because the product is just so soulless. Even the good fights seem less than they are because of the terrible atmosphere.
hope this doesn't mean he will only fight in the states because i cant be doing with watching fights at 3am
After the Groves fight he tried to be a bit more modest. As soon as he won the IBF he started saying everyone else was a '*****' He's a good boxer, but him and his trainer are just naturally unlikable
No mention of this on Eddies twitter and strangely Kugan or Helder have not mentioned this breaking news at this point.Has Eddie bannedthem from this subject?
Lol maybe. Even up until recently Hearn was talking about a homecoming fight for Degale but I guess this blows it out of the water. If Degale keeps getting paid similar purses to what he did against Dirrell then happy days $$$$$$
