    Round 3

Thurman is baiting Collazo, jabbing and circling with deceptive laziness moving to his right. Collazo encroaches with a jab and Thurman quickly ducks and counters with a 1-2 and then hooks the body after snapping Collazo's head back. Combinations by Thurman, shooting and turning Collazo. BIG counter left hook by Thurman. Collazo is strapped across the cheek and loses the exchange, forced to concede as Thurman zips around him, but is still coming forward. Lead lefts by Collazo, pumped in at chest height. Thurman is ducking and rolling, putting out light jabs to intercept and dissolve Collazo's punches in midair.

    10-9 Thurman

    30-27 Thurman

I dont get why thurman is rated so highly, he doesnt go around destroying people and he throws a low volume of punches to go with that overrated power.

It's a darned good thing Pat Russell didn't referee any of these fights tonight. I've never before heard of a wooden clapper being used in place of a bell. It's amazing the referees in these two featured fights have kept things straight.

EDIT: It turns out they ARE using a bell, one that has a chunk missing. It is ridiculous that PBC is reduced to using that, and that they did not have a spare bell available to use.

Thurman has got to land that straight right to Collazo's body and stop trying to knock his head off.

Collazo is doing a good job blocking a lot of Thurman's punches.
