Are you seriously comparing the two? Dear lord.

Really don't get the fawning over ham, he's utterly average whenever I have seen him.

Yes and the father son team is working so far but I don't understand your point to 20 years about another Joe? Maybe I'm to young and missed this lol

Oh cool. Yea they did say that & it worked out. Danny Garcia/Angel Garcia is another father son relationship. Also Robert Garcia & his father are all involved with Mickey ect ect too so Young Joe and his father could may well work too. Remember the fighter makes the trainer 👍

Yes he's sparred Ricky Burns in prep for a fight that was called off, I think we can certainly reach British or European level and hopefully depending on his development maybe higher

Josh Taylor is a fantastic pro prospect who competed at world level in the AMS
And I'm sure he will make the transformation to the pro ranks like a duck to water as most of the top AMS do & im aware it does not mean because you are a successful AM you do the same in the Pro's. In my opinion the kid has something, & a great lot of praise should go to Terry McCormick & his team too for the fighters produced in his LA club in Edinburgh. Barry & his team obviously see something in Josh to as they have a tight team around them including fighters. Josh will bounce off & pick up things from Frampton and who better to be around when up and coming.

Shawn Porter and his dad Kenny too, another great example of it working, plenty were it does not work though. It is really a case by case basis.

Yea defo another good shout and forgot about Porter. I'm sure there will be more father/trainer/son relationships that maybe ain't made world level but still works. Scott Harrison was another father son relationship that worked, Mayweather with uncle Roger and Floyd Snr. Also I think Broners dad was involved in some form too.

It would surprise you Stevie. He is mature and I'm sure Shane won't boil him down as he is very much into nutrition and you see the results he gets out of Frampton with condition/nutrition/fitness ect

I'm sure they will have an idea on what weight to compete at if and when he fights for titles compared to his first few fights in the pro ranks. Scottish Boxing certainly has a new bread of fighters coming through and very exciting times ahead

    Hope all well mate
