My arguement is sound. Yours is not.

Your comparing the Castillo that fought Mayweather to the Castillo that fought Hatton which is silly in the first place. Basically what you are saying is just because Castillo got stopped by a fighter that Mayweather stopped, it must be obvious that Mayweather is better, which is stupid. There have been tons of examples where Fighter A beats fighter B who beats Figther C who beats Fighter A. If you a true fan of boxing you would know this.

My arguement is, injuries or not,Mayweather did not react well to a guy who pressured him with skill. A guy who never stopped pushing him but picked his punches well and mixed it up. Who wasnt always there to be countered when he finished punching, who put all the advantages he had over Floyd to good use.
Castillo has some qualities of Duran, its just Duran is better and does what they both do a lot better.

Mayweather is a superb fighter but just no as good as Duran.

Floyd was troubled by (and arguably lost to) Castillo due to his jab, body work and technical pressure at 135. There is no way he survives against the greatest technical pressure fighter.

Duran's defence, footwork, power, body attack, timing and jab are all far superior to Castillo. Duran would work his way inside behind the jab and destroy mayweather with body shots and short punches. There is no way Mayweather outfights the best in-fighter ever up close (where things are bound to end up.

    Duran late TKO

Is this a serious thread? PBF is good, probably the best of this decade, but Duran would seriously hurt him at lightweight!

Thats true about Floyd not really getting hit, but no-one could take a flush Duran punch at LW... no-one!

 You dumb *******. Castillo was shot and above his best weight by the time he faced Hatton.

He clearly didn't fight with one hand the entire fight if you've actually seen the match and watched it with two eyes open rather than reading post fight reports.

Your argument was a bit less than sound as well. You Floyd groupies think he'll just pot-shot any great fighter because he did it to limited fighters like Jesus Chavez and Baldomir. Duran's just a tad different.

He didn't pot shot Jesus Chavez. He made him quit. Nothing about the ridiculous topic, you Floyd nawsayers just get away too far from reality too.

Anyone who thinks Floyd could beat Duran at Lightweight needs to watch some of Duran's fights!!

Pretty Boy would not stand a chance.

Duran close ud. Dont think he'd destroy Mayweather or nothing tho Durans was near impossible to keep off because he had a great defense while getting inside and thats the key to victory imo Mayweather would have his moments but not enough to beat hands of stone

Absolutely! Castillo was a damn good operator when Floyd fought him twice but he's not on Durans level.

Mano de Piedra - By hook or crook Duran would take Mayweather apart
