This will be the co-main event to Antonio Tarver vs. Steve Cunningham on Spike TV. The cruiser WBO title will be on the line, the attempted 14th defense of Huck. I have a feeling the Polish southpaw and WBO #1 contender (and Euro champ) is going to be masticated and expectorated. Too big a class gulf, and too few stylistic boons to make up for that. In fact, I can't think of a single department in which Glowacki is superior to Huck, or more than "just plain average" beyond Euro level. :conf I expect a late grind-down TKO for Huck, with yet another zero stolen and two in a row after Larghetti. (Huck in his career has been the first to defeat: 23-0-1 Vadim Tokarev, 18-0 Geoffrey Battelo, 23-0 Vitaliy Rusal, 21-0 Denis Lebedev, 25-0 Ran Nakash, and 21-0 Mirko Larghetti. That's a combined record of 131-0-1, and if he does indeed chew up & spit out Glowacki, 155-0-1. And lest you think he ought to have a little asterisk next to Lebedev with his 21-0 subtracted from the equation, then we may as well swap it out with 23-0 for Alexander Povetkin. The scoring that night was dodgy too, so if we're dealing Huck an L for Lebedev, then we could just as easily argue dealing him a W for Povetkin...)
Huck is bigger, stronger, twice as experienced (in both quality and quantity of experience), and proven teak-tough while Głowacki's durability is completely untested. The only thing Głowacki has going for him is being a southpaw, as they have in the past troubled Huck (Lebedev, Arslan) - but on the other hand there have been southpaws that have been dominated by Huck, like Godfrey and Rossi. I suspect Głowacki is closer to Godfrey's and Rossi's level than Lebedev's or even Arslan's.

What is with Huck and the unnecessarily prolonged absences from the ring, in his prime? He fought once in 2013, and twice last year (with seven month gaps) and Głowacki will end an eleven month layoff. Management issues? :huh
Not thrilled with this match in the least. Huck Huck Vs. Cunningham http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y972gzt_i9o Huck Vs. Afolabi 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdTaXq4A9Rk Huck Vs. Huck will be under pressure in this fight from a strategic point of view. He split up with Sauerland, has a new TV partner. Should Huck lose this he's in huge trouble career wise. I would expect him to be a bit nervous going into this. He has a lot on the line here.
Yeah but he would have to be like "going to prom with Ariana Grande", literally peeing his trunks nervous for it to make up the deficit in class between Głowacki and himself.
I hope she does a video like the one I put up in The Lounge. http://images.m-magazine.com/upload...p-bare-feet.jpg?crop=top&fit=clip&h=500&w=698
This should be the main event, unless they want Tarver-Cunningham fighting in front of an empty arena
