But as early as three years before that Tommy was looking very frail, much older than he actually was, and had lesions. Tommy's denial of his illness has never really seemed to jive with the turn his life took after that. And why would his own mom say he had full blown AIDS at the end? Even Tony Holden, who supported Tommy's comeback attempts, alluded to Tommy's unwillingness to accept the truth of his condition when he gave interviews stating that Tommy invented the conspiracy theories about his HIV tests. As early as 1999 Tommy's own attorney John Hudson sent him to the hospital to determine if his HIV transitioned into AIDS. Besides, Tommy didnt just deny he had HIV, he denied HIV even existed...
Yeah, bit of a coincidence that he died like that (protracted "septicima" or whatever his wife says) in his early 40s after being misdiagnosed with HIV in his 20s. But coincidences happen, and he's dead either way, so may he rest in peace. :good

I heard it was guillain barre syndrome which is an immune disorder that's frequently comorbid with AIDS (can't remember if one of his wives broke it to the media).
