Going with Loma on this one. Rigo has been too inactive and more importantly a smaller fighter. Rigo looked tiny compared to Donaire. Rigo has better skills IMHO but this is a case of a good big fighter, with 90% of the skill Rigo, beating a small good fighter.

There will be a 2nd weigh in at a specified time, not that close to the ring walks I assume. Porter-Broner was supposed to be the saturday morning I believe?

I assume the fight would probably still go ahead but the contracted penalties for missing wieght would surely be pretty significant in a case such as this?

Plus the bad PR it would bring,

Should be a good fight. I think Rigo is more skilled but I favor Loma to win due to the size difference. We shall see.

If Loma had more pro fight I'd confidently picked him to possible catch Rigo and possible TKO late, but the fact that he's got only 5 professional fight I feel might be a little too soon for him and yes I do understand that he's had tons of amateur bouts, but the reason I say this is because in the Salido and the Russell fight I noticed that he sometimes just drops his output as if he's trying to conserve energy, but having said that I'd still have to go with Loma in a very close fight.

Yes, that's exactly why I said it might have been a little too soon and this fight may be harder for him to win now than later down the line, I'd still pick him though.

I agree with you with regarding Rigo's low output, but I think in order for Loma to win this fight he's going to have to be the aggressor and possibly chase Rigo around I just hope he doesn't have to slow down and reduce his output doing so because if he does then I can see Rigo outpointing him in those rounds. I don't think Lomo can stand there and outbox Rigo.

If you don't like this fight then find a new sport to watch.

I have no strong opinions on this one, but my instinct is that Rigo either wins a decision spectacularly, or Loma proves too strong and batters him to a stoppage or decision of his own. But I confess to having only seen about half of each guy's fights.

    You're scenario certainly seems plausible.

I've never been as big on Lomachenko as many, but how many fights has he had now? I think I only saw 3 of his fights, 4 if you include my half-ased efforts paying attention to his fight on the Floyd-Pac under card.
