Shannon Briggs offered Deontay Wilder last week $2.000.000 to fight for the WBC crown on the 5th of September in the Hard Rock Casino, Hollywood, but Wilder hasn't responded yet.

His next opponent would probably be a major step up in the Haitian slugger Bermane Stiverne, who lost the WBC belt back in January this year. Former boxing legends like Lennox Lewis, Rid**** Bowe, Roy Jones Jr, and many others will attend this fight.

If Briggs wins, he will be guaranteed another crack at the heavyweight crown.

    Who wins this and how?

If Briggs was willing to fight a live body, why not take the fight with Tarver? Would be much more fun for us

Is this real? I'm glad Briggs is actually fighting a name, if this is true.

I think Stiverne wins this. Maybe by TKO.

Vlad must have told Briggs get a title and fight a contender and we can make money but as of right now the public will laugh at me if I fight you. If Briggs beats Stiverne this division will be in trouble but while I expect Stiverne to win I would not bet the house on it, in fact I would not bet on this one.

I'll bet dollars to cookie crisp cereal that Briggs fights another stiff instead of a contender like Stiverne.

Someone in Florida has made a poor investment in Briggs and is using names like Wilder and Stiverne to try to drum up interest in his next fight so they can say eveyrone is ducking him.

It's not real. Just like the Wilder offer wasn't real.

Briggs will fight the same type of guy he always fights.

The press release even said Wlad Klitschko was "expected" to attend ... like Wlad Klitschko would break training camp to fly to Florida to attend a freaking Shannon Briggs fight.

Everything about this upcoming Briggs card is a huge lie.

I think Briggs wins a close decision in this one. He isn't really much worse than he was when he lost to Vitali Klitschko and I think Stiverne can be lazy at times and I can't see him scoring a one punch KO against the hugely muscle bound Briggs we currently see.
